Ana Radović was in the car found before she went missing; Emergency services headed to the located vehicle

So far, it is not known whether the missing girl is in the car, as the vehicle remained stuck in the canal, and emergency services are awaited to determine if there are any people inside.

The car was found by local residents, who immediately informed the police and emergency services.

As a reminder, the police had been investigating yesterday whether Ana Radović’s disappearance is connected to this vehicle.

Ana Radović (20) went missing on November 23, when she left Zlatibor for Belgrade to attend university. The last contact was with her brother at 6:45 PM. According to her father, she remained reachable for another 14 hours after that call, after which her phone went off, and the family has had no trace of her whereabouts since then.

Last time she was heard from by relatives

Ana went missing three days ago while traveling from Zlatibor to Belgrade. The last call was with her brother when she was near Čačak. The call took place at 6:45 PM, and according to her father, Miloš, that was the last time anyone in the family heard from her.

“After that, her phone was reachable for another 13–14 hours, and then she became unavailable. I think the likelihood that she had a traffic accident is small,” her father added.

He said that the police informed him that no traffic accidents had been reported on the day she went missing.

He appeals to all citizens who have any information about Ana or have seen her to immediately contact the nearest police station.

“Any help at this moment is welcome,” the grieving father told Blic.

Police search the Morava River and Međuvršje

As a reminder, near Čačak the police have been searching the Morava River following reports that a car allegedly went into the Međuvršje lake yesterday. So far, there is no official confirmation that the two cases are connected.

Firefighters, rescuers, and Gendarmerie divers are thoroughly searching the Morava River and Međuvršje lake between Čačak and Užice due to suspicions that the car went off the road. Authorities are reportedly investigating whether the vehicle might contain the girl from Zlatibor, whose disappearance was reported by her mother yesterday.

In light of all this information, the police are conducting a detailed search and investigation to determine all the circumstances surrounding the girl’s disappearance, as well as the alleged car accident.

So far, the entire case raises many questions that the police and the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Užice are trying to answer. What is currently known is that the girl’s disappearance has been reported.

“Acting on this report, the police are searching for her, and operational work and base station analysis are ongoing,” a Blic source said.
