Media: Mass murderer Uroš Blažić got into a fight in prison

The Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions has confirmed that Uroš Blažić and another detained person had a brief verbal and physical confrontation yesterday in the room where they were housed together.

As it was said, the Security Service immediately intervened and took both persons for a medical examination, which is part of the regular procedure.

Also, as they state, these persons were placed in different rooms after the medical examination, which is also a mandatory part of the procedure.

As it was said, the competent court has been informed about this case and it is up to the court to make a decision on disciplinary measures against these detainees.

According to unofficial information, the complaint of Uroš Blažić that he suffered an attack in the detention unit in December, when he was on hunger strike because the administration of the institution allegedly did not respond to the case, was rejected as unfounded by the execution judge. Uroš Blažić was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the first-instance verdict because he killed nine and wounded 12 people in the villages of Malo Orašje and Dubona on May 4, 2023.
