New provocation on Christmas Eve in Kosovo and Metohija: Banner reading 'Christ is Born' removed PHOTO
The so-called Kosovo Police reportedly banned the placement of a banner in the center of North Mitrovica with the inscription “Peace of God, Christ is Born,” according to Kosovo Online.
After more than an hour-long discussion between the mayor of North Mitrovica, Milan Radojević, and a group of Serb List members who wanted to put up a banner, together with Kosovo Police officers, the police asked Radojević to report immediately to the police station in North Mitrovica, without giving a reason for the request.

Radojević, accompanied by a group of Serb List members, headed to the police station.
The decision to put up a banner with the inscription “Peace of God, Christ is Born” was made by the mayor of North Mitrovica, who during the discussion asked the police to provide a written explanation of the ban and to clarify which law would be violated by putting up the banner.
Currently, there are more than 30 Kosovo Police officers present in the center of North Mitrovica.
