The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade demands that the person who arrested Igor Popović be identified.
The Prosecutor's Office sent requests for the collection of the necessary information to the Directorate of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Interior of the RS and the Security and Information Agency in order to identify persons who, on July 18, 2025, posing as the so-called "Kosovo police", arrested and brought to Pristina the deputy director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Igor Popović.
Igor Popović was arrested after his address in Orahovac to commemorate the Orahovac Serbs who were killed by the so-called KLA.
The requests were sent in order to establish the existence of essential elements of the criminal offense of abduction.
