The resignation of Miloš Vučević has been confirmed
The Serbian Parliament noted today the resignation of the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević.

President of the Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, thanked Vučević for the honorable and honest performance of his job while he was in the position of Prime Minister, as well as for his responsible and courageous demeanor.
Vucevic submitted his irrevocable resignation on January 28, after an attack on students in blockade in Novi Sad. With the resignation of the prime minister, the government becomes technical, and the 30-day period for electing a new government begins. If a new government is not elected within 30 days, parliamentary elections will be held.
The government of Miloš Vučević was elected at the session held on May 2, 2024.
