The United States of America has officially confirmed its participation in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, Finance Minister Siniša Mali announced on Instagram.

“The agreement on U.S. participation was signed today in Belgrade, which is of great importance to us, because the United States, as a global leader in science and technology, will make an important contribution to this exhibition, which represents a major development opportunity for our country. At the same time, the confirmation of U.S. participation is a significant recognition for Serbia and an opportunity to present ourselves to the world in the best possible way — as a successful country ready to further develop partnerships and strengthen its economic position,” Siniša Mali explained in his post on the social network.

“The agreement on U.S. participation was signed by Sarah Rogers, Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy at the U.S. State Department, whom I had the opportunity to show the panoramic view of the entire city from the observation deck at the top of Kula Beograd after the ceremony,” Mali emphasized.

“We discussed the U.S. presentation at this exhibition and their pavilion, which I believe will be impressive. We are looking forward to welcoming the whole world to Belgrade next year!” he concluded.
