According to the Office for Media Relations of the President, the meeting began at 11:15 a.m. in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic.

It should be noted that the President also attended a previous meeting held on Thursday, December 2.

NIS is still hoping to obtain a license from OFAC.

This marks the sixty-first day since the U.S. sanctions on NIS, which is majority-owned by Russia, came into effect.

Meanwhile, the U.S. administration has extended the operating license for Russia’s Lukoil until April 29. This license applies to Lukoil’s foreign subsidiaries and has been in effect since December 4.
