Polish FM Radoslaw Sikorski has confirmed that a Polish engineer kidnapped in Pakistan has been executed by the Taleban. Sikorski said the video that the militants released yesterday was authentic. News agencies subsequently received copies of a graphic video apparently showing a man being beheaded. Pakistani security officials said the Taleban wanted money for the return of Stanczak's body. The victim was kidnapped on Sept. 28 while visiting one of his company's sites at Attock in north-west Pakistan. His Pakistani driver, bodyguard and translator were killed in the attack.
