Regional governments urged to give up territory

Danaj is an advocate of the so-called "natural", i.e., greater Albania, that would include parts of neighboring countries.

The Montenegrin daily Dan reported on Wednesday they received the text of the letter from Danaj. It insists on "self-determination" of Albanians in other countries - "if the Serb Republic separates from Bosnia-Herzegovina and joins Serbia."

Albania is, according to him, "the only country in Europe that has itself along its borders."

Danaj, however, "offers comforting words" to Albania's neighbors, saying he is "not an advocate of a greater, but of a natural Albania," and qualifies himself as "an antifascist."

According him, the international community - "because it wants peace and stability in the region" - is starting to take into account the idea of "unification of all Albanians."

"A Natural Albania means replacing the Belgrade-Athens axis with the Belgrade-Tirana-Athens triangle, after the unification of Kosovo and other parts of Albanian territories with the mother country," wrote Danaj.
