Montenegrin FM Milan Rocen welcomed back Serbian Ambassador to Podgorica Zoran Lutovac, with the remark that he “did not have to leave Montenegro at all”. “What can I say. Welcome. The Serbian ambassador to Montenegro returned to his duties in Podgorica on Monday, and the Foreign Ministry of the host country has been notified by an official note. While talking to reporters on Wednesday, Rocen was asked whether there was any mention of the “latest last case of organized crime and the bickering between Serbia and Montenegro” during his visit to Brussels. The journalists were referring to the Saric case, and the Montenegrin foreign minister answered that “not a word” said in Brussels about it. “We spoke about very serious topics and further progress of Montenegro on the road of the European integrations,” Rocen concluded.

The Serbian government withdrew Lutovac to consultations on January 15, after Podgorica established diplomatic relations with Priština.

The Serbian ambassador to Montenegro returned to his duties in Podgorica on Monday, and the Foreign Ministry of the host country has been notified by an official note.

While talking to reporters on Wednesday, Roćen was asked whether there was any mention of the “latest last case of organized crime and the bickering between Serbia and Montenegro” during his visit to Brussels.

The journalists were referring to the Šarić case, and the Montenegrin foreign minister answered that “not a word” said in Brussels about it.

“We spoke about very serious topics and further progress of Montenegro on the road of the European integrations,” Roćen concluded.
