Ex-RS leader won't go back to politics
Former Republic of Srpska (RS) President Biljana Plavšić stated in Banja Luka that she was on a personal visit to the largest town of the Serb entity.

Former Republic of Srpska (RS) President Biljana Plavsic stated in Banja Luka that she was on a personal visit to the largest town of the Serb entity. She also said that she had no intentions to get politically involved. Ex-RS leader won't go back to politics Plavsic also visited RS President Rajko Kuzmanovic on Thursday. In her short statement to the media she said she was still adjusting to being free and added that it was a difficult but pleasant period. “I finally don’t have a position and I can live a life I dreamed of living once I stepped down,” she said. The former RS president said she was pleasantly surprised to see that Banja Luka had developed wonderfully during nine years of her “slavery”. “It’s not just Banja Luka, the whole Republic of Srpska is being built. I sensed that and it helped me survive,” she stated. Biljana Plavsic traveled to the RS from Belgrade on Wednesday and had meetings with RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik. She also visited her mother’s grave at a local cemetery. She said she would go back to Belgrade which is now her new residence. Plavsic was released from a Swedish prison on October 27 after serving two thirds of her 11-year sentenced, handed down by the Hague Tribunal for her role in the 1992-96 war in Bosnia.
