Assembly passes 14 laws, concludes extraordinary session
The Serbian National Assembly on Wednesday concluded its 6th extraordinary session in 2016 by passing 14 laws, including the law on public enterprises.

The parliament also passed the law on the protection of the population from contagious diseases, as well as the public health law, envisioning the establishment of a national public health council.Under the new legislation, parents or guardians who refuse to vaccinate their children will pay fines of RSD 150,000.
Also passed was the law on acquiring ownership rights over the real estate property, facilities and ductwork of the Smederevo steel mill, as were amendments to the law on public-private partnerships and concessions and the law on tax procedure and tax administration.
Amendments to the precious metals control act and the meteorology act were also passed and several bilateral agreements approved.
