Police: About 120 IS fighters returned to Kosovo

There are currently about 120 persons in Kosovo who returned from the ranks of so-called Islamic State (IS), Kosovo police spokesperson Baki Kelani has said.

Police: About 120 IS fighters returned to Kosovo

The paper's sources said that "institutions, the Kosovo police, the counter-intelligence agency and other relevant mechanisms included" are monitoring their activities "in detail."

The report said that security measures in Kosovo had been raised to a higher level in the wake of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, and that Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov said before these attacks that 70 IS fighters had returned to his country.
