Parliament to discuss Criminal Code

Omer Hadžiomerović of the Judges Association of Serbia said that the Criminal Procedure Code should see many novelties, including rules on prosecution’s investigation.

“Investigations, currently run by investigative judges at prosecutor’s request, will from now be handled by the prosecutor himself under supervision of the investigative judge who will decide on detention and other important issues,” Hadžiomerović said.
