Radivojević declined to specify the conditions due to ongoing negotiations. However, he stressed they were “very similar to those agreed by Zastava and Fiat,” adding that the Opel model that would be produced in Kragujevac “would not bear Zastava sign,” as well as that General Motors insisted on “efficient talks and speedy implementation of the agreement”.

Asked whether failure to form a new government in Serbia could jeopardize the ongoing talks, Radivojević said he personally thought a party to be negotiated with existed on the Serbian side, adding that “the government with jurisdiction to conduct this kind of business is in place”.
