The Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina has decided to extradite suspected Croatian war criminal Tihomir Purda to Serbia, according to reports.

The Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina has decided to extradite suspected Croatian war criminal Tihomir Purda to Serbia, according to reports. This has been confirmed for Tanjug by the court's spokesperson. Decision reached to extradite Croat Earlier today, Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti wrote that its reporters learned this "unofficially". The court on Thursday told the daily that the decision was made and sent to both Serbia and Croatia, but that it would not "give out any information until both sides receive the decision". Both countries also have a right to appeal. Croatia is expected to attempt and overturn the decision to allow Purda, now in custody in Bosnia, to be extradited. Serbia wants to try him on charges of war crimes committed in Croatia in 1991. The alleged victims were PoWs.
