This year record corn harvest of 7 million tons with market surplus of 2 million tons is expected, according to Agriculture Minister Sasa Dragin. “In this economic year (2010/ 2011) we expect the record harvest with market surplus of 2 million tons, which will, with adequate price, generate income of EUR 300mn, 100mn more than in the previous economic year,” underscored Dragin.
