Serbian and Slovenian business representatives said on Thursday that the cooperation between the two countries was good. At a meeting of the Slovenian Business Club in Belgrade today, they also voiced their expectation that it would be promoted in future. Serbian, Slovenian businessmen happy with cooperation Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) President Milos Bugarin said that trade between Serbia and Slovenia in 2007 amounted to more than EUR 1bn, and added that Slovenia was among the countries that had the largest number of investments in Serbia. He added that about 400 Slovenian companies operated in Serbia but that Serbian businessmen's approach to the Slovenian market "has not been so aggressive", except the recent signing of investment deals by only two Serbian companies - ComTrade and Delta Holding. Bugarin announced the opening of a representative office of the Serbian PKS in Ljubljana, which should promote trade between the two countries. President of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Zdenko Pavcek said that Serbia will "continue to be one of the biggest business partners of Slovenia".
