Although initial reports indicated a magnitude of 5.3, the EMSC later revised it to 4.8.Within minutes, additional tremors followed.According to the EMSC, the subsequent earthquakes measured 4.3, 5.2, and 5.0 in magnitude.The epicenters were located near Limni, while the hypocenters ranged from 5 to 10 kilometers below the Earth&#39;s surface.The earthquakes were strongly felt as far away as Athens.&ldquo;Chandeliers were swaying, radiators were shaking and rattling,&rdquo; &ldquo;It was strongly felt even in Athens,&rdquo; &ldquo;It shook quite hard in Chalcis...&rdquo; people reported after the earthquakes.Witnesses described noticeable shaking across a wide area, with some saying that furniture and household objects moved, while others noted that the tremors were clearly felt even in Athens. Residents in and around Chalcis reported particularly strong shaking.
