The entire program lasted almost three and a half hours, during which viewers could see many key details from Italian history.Naturally, the parade of athletes took the longest, and for us the most important moment was when the Serbian delegation was introduced, represented by three competitors.Anja Ilić, Milo&scaron; Milosavljević, and Aleksa Tomović will represent Serbia at the Winter Olympic Games.During the opening ceremony, athletes were presented from four different cities where the Games will be held.As a reminder, the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina will take place from February 6 to February 22.The Olympic Flame LitThis ceremonial honor belonged to legendary Italian skier Alberto Tomba, who lit the Olympic flame. The flame will burn for the next 16 days at the Gate of Peace in Milan.At the same time, the flame will also burn in Cortina. The Olympic FlagWe then reached the moment of the opening ceremony when the Olympic flag was raised.After that, the Olympic anthem was performed. And Finally, the Host NationItaly got everyone on their feet&mdash;literally the whole stadium and all spectators in the other host cities of the Games.As the fourth-largest delegation, the Italians impressed everyone.Of course, they were the last to march in the parade of nations.
