Looking at the period from 2020 to 2026, the nominal growth of pensions is 117.1 percent, and the real growth is even 45.2 percent, considering that expected inflation over this period is 49.4 percent. Therefore, we have a real increase in the purchasing power of pensions, which means we are improving the quality of life of our oldest citizens while maintaining macroeconomic stability.&#39;Pensions in Serbia are completely stable and have never been higher, and we continue, by pursuing responsible economic policies, to improve the quality of life for the elderly and aim for an average pension of &euro;650 by the end of 2027.&#39;Of course, in addition to the growth of pensions, other income increases for citizens are coming. Thus, salaries in the public sector will increase by 5.1 percent starting January 1, 2026, while the minimum wage will rise by 10.1 percent, exceeding &euro;550.&#39;The citizens of Serbia and their quality of life are always our top priority, which we have proven over the past years, and this is the policy we will continue to follow in the future,&#39; concluded the minister.&quot;
