What is known for sure for now is that the children did not die as a result of a violent death and that a third person did not participate in this crime, but it cannot be determined with certainty whether the suspects poisoned the children together or whether the father or mother did it. There were no visible injuries or blood on the bodies of the children in the house in Petrovaradin, where the couple lived, and a bottle with some substance was found on the table, according to unofficial information. Martina and Lav, holding hands, jumped together from the 17th floor of the solitaire at Bulevar Tsar Lazar 7 in the Liman neighborhood of Novi Sad, and after their identities were established, the next day, on March 2, in the house in Petrovaradin where they lived as tenants, the lifeless bodies of their two sons were found.
