A third Russian attack drone reportedly entered Belarusian airspace around 2:30 a.m., but the Belarusian Defense Ministry did not provide additional information about the drone.The incident is the second time this week that Belarusian fighter jets have been deployed to protect the country's airspace, with the group also releasing a video of the alleged downing of a drone over Gomel.Russian drones have previously reportedly veered off course in the direction of Belarus during airstrikes against Ukraine on multiple occasions, but this would be the first known case of a Belarusian aircraft successfully shooting down a Russian drone.Belarusian Hayun reports that a Belarusian fighter jet attempted to shoot down a Russian Shahed drone that entered the country's airspace on August 29.According to the group, Russian drones invaded Belarusian airspace on Wednesday, as well as on August 26.The Ministry of Defense of Belarus did not comment on the alleged incident.
