Preparations for the construction of Dunav Metro Station: Location conditions issued for permanent relocation

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued PowerChina with location conditions for the phased construction and reconstruction, as well as the permanent relocation of existing electricity and gas installations from the site planned for the construction of the Dunav metro station in Belgrade&rsquo;s Palilula municipality, on cadastral parcels No. 29/18, 30/28, 30/19, 30/20, and 42/1 KO.Concept DesignAccording to the statement, the conditions are required for the preparation of the concept design, the building permit design, and the detailed construction design. The Dunav metro station is planned within Zone L, which covers part of the Cvijićeva Street regulation area and the intersection with Poenkareova Street, in the area of the planned Dunav metro station and Block 26 along Poenkareova Street.&quot;Public bus transport is currently operating in this zone. In order to ensure the continuity of the Linear Park, the extension of Cvijićeva Street will be constructed at a different elevation level from the park, meaning that within plot SA-80, the continuation of the Linear Park is planned above the roadway,&quot; the issued conditions specify.The metro station structure itself is planned, as noted, on the site of an old, abandoned railway area.According to the underground utility cadastre, there are no installations requiring relocation within the excavation zone of the future station, apart from an electricity cable and a gas pipeline, the document adds.It should be recalled that PowerChina was recently also issued location conditions for the phased construction and reconstruction, as well as the permanent relocation of existing hydraulic, electrical, telecommunications, and mechanical installations (gas pipeline installations) from the site where the Pančevački most metro station is planned.
