Winds will weaken and shift to northwesterly, accompanied by a drop in temperature.On Friday and over the weekend, conditions will remain cloudy with rain and local showers, while mountainous areas will see snowfall and an increase in snow cover, with locally heavier precipitation expected.On Sunday afternoon, precipitation will gradually cease, while from Monday, March 30, conditions will be partly cloudy and windy, with a chance of light rain, and snow in higher elevations.Region already affectedA major weather change has already hit Croatia, with snow falling in Gorski Kotar and parts of northwestern Croatia, while strong winds are blowing along the coast.This morning at 6 a.m., Civil Protection sent a warning message to citizens urging caution due to heavy snowfall, along with a link to monitor the situation, according to the Index portal.The Hydrometeorological Institute of Republika Srpska has also issued a warning about a sudden change in weather, heavy precipitation, cooling, snow, and strong to gale-force winds.Similar conditions are expected in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) has issued a warning for today due to strong winds across the country and intense precipitation in the Krajina region.
