He stated that another 29 kilometers from Čačak to Kraljevo will be opened in May, and that the entire Morava Corridor will be completed by September 2026.&ldquo;When we open in May or June, the Čačak&ndash;Kraljevo section, that is Preljina to Adrani, there will still be 12 kilometers from Adrani to Vrba to connect this around Kraljevo, and that will be finished by September,&rdquo; Vučić said while Aleksandar Antić, director of the Corridors of Serbia, presented the current works on a map in Novo Selo near Vrnjačka Banja.Vučić added that out of a total of 112 kilometers, 29 kilometers from Čačak to Kraljevo remain.&ldquo;We will open that in May, which is extremely important for the entire western and southwestern Serbia. Then we will have two more months to finish the remaining section we reached today, that is Kraljevo-South, the outskirts of Kraljevo, that is the Vrba interchange, from Vrba to Adrani, and then we will have completed everything,&rdquo; Vučić told reporters.&ldquo;This highway is truly amazing, it even connects to Ni&scaron;. This highway is incredible. I&rsquo;ve always wondered how long it takes a &lsquo;Radnik&rsquo; bus from Surdulica to Lučani, and I realized how bad our roads used to be. Now, in no time! From Surdulica to Lučani will take less than two hours&hellip;&rdquo;&ldquo;Vrnjačka Banja this year has 12% more overnight stays. The problem is that some factories still don&rsquo;t pay high salaries, but there is far less unemployment than before, three times less. But only when you bring a highway and a gas pipeline can you expect other investors. We have built far more kilometers than were built from 1945 to 2012,&rdquo; he noted.He said that it takes one hour to get from Kraljevo to Kragujevac, and 1 hour and 35 minutes to Belgrade.Regarding road maintenance, Vučić said that a lot is being invested &ndash; 400 million euros &ndash; and that there are no concessions, so all revenue goes to the state of Serbia. He added that all payments are made on time and that they never fall behind.He also said that there are plans to allocate funds for the repair and construction of regional roads, and that it would be good to obtain a favorable loan for this, for example from UK Finance. About the sectionA section of the E-761 highway (Pojate&ndash;Preljina) from Vrnjačka Banja to the Vrba interchange, approximately 14 kilometers long (13.78 km), is opening, which will bring the total length of the new highway to 72 km.The Morava Corridor route is 112.4 km in total and connects Pojate and Preljina, passing through the districts of Rasina, Ra&scaron;ka, and Moravica.The highway is being built for a speed of 130 kilometers per hour, with a total width of 30 meters&mdash;almost two meters wider than other highways in Serbia&mdash;providing additional comfort and increasing traffic safety, according to the Corridors of Serbia.The Morava Corridor is also the first digital corridor in Serbia, enabling fast and reliable information exchange to ensure safe traffic flow. Koridori Srbije&quot;With the opening of the Vrnjačka Banja &ndash; Vrba section, the Morava Corridor has now reached the entrance to Kraljevo.&quot;The travel time from Belgrade to Vrba via Pojate will now be two hours and 10 minutes, and after the opening of the remaining sections of the Morava Corridor, it will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Vrba via Čačak.In April 2023, the section from Pojate to Makre&scaron;ane was opened to traffic, in December 2023 the section from Makre&scaron;ane to Kru&scaron;evac (Ko&scaron;evi), and in December 2024 the section from Kru&scaron;evac (Ko&scaron;evi) to Vrnjačka Banja.According to data from Koridori Srbije, on the Vrnjačka Banja &ndash; Vrba section (Vrnjačka Banja interchange &ndash; Vrba interchange), which is 14 km long, a grade-separated Vrba interchange has been built, allowing the Morava Corridor to connect with the existing IB-class state roads 23 (Kru&scaron;evac&ndash;Kraljevo) and 24 (Kraljevo&ndash;Kragujevac).An access road has also been built, connecting these two main roads that were previously unconnected, and within it a new 361-meter-long bridge over the West Morava River has been constructed.Additionally, 19 bridges, eight slab culverts, and two overpasses have been built. These works protect the highway from high waters of the West Morava and also increase the flood protection level for the surrounding area, which has a significant positive impact on the local population and economy.In October 2025, Koridori Srbije also opened the Ko&scaron;evi grade-separated interchange, located on the previously opened Kru&scaron;evac (Ko&scaron;evi) &ndash; Vrnjačka Banja section.This grade-separated interchange connects the Morava Corridor with settlements on the right bank of the West Morava, as well as with the municipalities of Aleksandrovac and Brus, and further with the road leading to the Kopaonik ski resort, significantly shortening travel time since the start of this ski season.Alongside the construction of this section, works are ongoing on the remaining part of the project, from Vrba to Preljina, covering about 40 km.The benefits of the construction will be directly felt by residents of Ćićevac, Varvarin, Kru&scaron;evac, Trstenik, Vrnjačka Banja, Kraljevo, and Čačak, according to Koridori Srbije.The contractor for the works is the American-Turkish consortium &quot;Bechtel-Enka.&quot;
