The ministers discussed the state of the energy sector and ways to maintain stable fuel supplies to the market.It was noted during the session that neither the economy nor citizens have reason to worry, as there is a sufficient supply of all petroleum products.Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met yesterday with teams responsible for the country’s energy stability and security.He stated that all current challenges were reviewed and important conclusions were reached to protect Serbia’s interests and ensure safe and reliable supply for both citizens and the economy.Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedović Handanović said after the meeting that a response from the United States regarding the operation of the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) is expected today or tomorrow. She reassured citizens that there is no reason to worry and that there will be enough fuel products for everyone.She emphasized that the Serbian government has developed contingency plans to ensure the fuel market is supplied in such a way that citizens will not be affected.
