After today’s arrest of Miša Bačulov on suspicion that he attempted to fake his own poisoning and blame President Aleksandar Vučić and the country’s leadership to provoke an escalation of violence, officers of the Criminal Police Directorate in Belgrade, acting on the order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, arrested D.C. for assisting him.Bačulov and D.C.’s plan was to simulate a severe poisoning that they would accuse the president and the state leadership of — a supposed poisoning and its consequences that would lead to an escalation of violence at the Novi Sad protest scheduled for November 1.The ultimate goal of this diversionary plot, it is suspected, was to topple the state and violently remove the authorities from power.
