According to reports on social networks, the plane sent an "SOS" signal over the Caspian Sea. The plane crashed after requesting an emergency landing at the airport in Aktau, Kazakhstan, where the aircraft had been diverted due to heavy fog in Grozny. According to preliminary information, there were 67 passengers and 5 crew members in the plane. The first footage of the plane crash was also published on the X social network.

Also, according to data from social networks, which have not yet been officially confirmed, 12 passengers survived.

There were allegedly Russian citizens onboard.
