Sánchez said in a televised address that Spain will not recognize any changes to Palestinian borders after 1967, unless all sides agree on it, Reuters reports.

The Spanish government officially recognized Palestinian statehood during a meeting today, José Manuel Albares stated.

In addition to Spain, the recognition of Palestine was announced today by Ireland and Norway, stating that the move will speed up efforts to ensure an end to the war in Gaza.
