At one point, she lost her balance, fell from the vehicle, and was then run over by the truck.

Firefighters and emergency medical teams quickly arrived at the scene, but they could only confirm the girl’s death, as she had succumbed to her severe injuries.

Six other minors witnessed the tragic incident.

Everyone was provided with medical assistance, while one person was taken to a hospital in Maubeuge due to severe shock.

The truck driver was detained and placed in police custody, while an investigation was launched on suspicion of causing death in a traffic accident through negligence.
