In a large-scale arrest operation carried out since this morning across Serbia by members of the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP) and the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ), under the order of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and in cooperation with Eurojust, at least 10 people have been arrested so far.

According to Blic, those arrested are linked to the so-called "Vračar clan."

The arrests are being carried out by the competent prosecutor’s office in cooperation with Eurojust.

Unofficial sources report that during the raids and searches across several Serbian cities, money and valuable jewelry were seized.

The synchronized and extensive operation by the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP) is aimed at combating organized crime and other serious criminal offenses.

Blic reports that the large-scale UKP operation targets members of the "Vračar clan" as well as members of criminal groups cooperating with them.

It should be noted that members of the so-called "Vračar clan," led by Nikola Vušović, nicknamed Johnny from Vračar, are on trial for three murders and five attempted murders. Vušović was previously arrested in Barcelona and later extradited to Austria, where he was sentenced to 12 years in prison for planning the murder of a member of the Škaljari clan.
