Everything stopped - panic set in: Evacuation is underway
The London transport network "Transport for London" is facing a major power outage today.

Metro lines were suspended and there were long delays.
Staff at Covent Garden station are informing passengers that the entire London Underground is down due to a power cut. Passengers were reportedly evacuated from Tottenham Court Road station.
A spokesperson for TFL (Transport for London) told Metro that all four lines (Bakerloo, Northern, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines) were affected by a short power cut earlier today.
The cause of the power outage is still unknown. TFL also said the National Network had been informed of the incident and was investigating the cause.
The blackout in Britain follows a series of blackouts in Spain over the past month and in the Canary Islands last month.
As many as 3.23 million people use the subway every day, reaching four million on certain days.
