Kragujevac has sent aid to Čačak: A water tanker and thousands of liters of drinking water have been donated

Due to several days of problems with the water supply in Čačak, JKP Šumadija Kragujevac has sent the city a water tanker carrying 10,000 liters of water.

“On the initiative of the City of Kragujevac, and in agreement with the City of Čačak, we dispatched a tanker carrying 10,000 liters of water, which will be available to the citizens of Čačak until the water supply problem is resolved. The Emergency Situations Headquarters of the City of Čačak will determine the locations where the tanker will be stationed, while additional refilling will be carried out within the territory of Čačak,” said Zoran Jovanović.

In order to ease the current situation for the citizens of Čačak, assistance was also provided by JKP Vodovod i kanalizacija Kragujevac in addition to JKP Šumadija Kragujevac, sending three tankers carrying a total of 26,000 liters of drinking water.

Representatives of JKP Šumadija Kragujevac stated that solidarity and mutual support are extremely important in emergency situations, adding that they will continue providing assistance in accordance with their capabilities and the needs on the ground.
