All of them, except one who presented a defense, remained silent, the prosecution said.

In Belgrade, B.S., U.N., S.M., M.A., N.O., M.T., and M.Ć. were arrested; in Šabac, D.J.T., S.M., and D.G.; while abroad, M.Dj., A.O., and V.M. were detained, two of them in Spain, the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime previously reported.

They are suspected of committing criminal offenses including forming a criminal organization, murder, and causing general danger.

They are suspected of being members of the organized criminal group known as the “Vračar” group whose organizers, Nikola Vušović and Uroš Piperski, are imprisoned in Germany and Portugal respectively, and against whom criminal proceedings are ongoing in a court in Belgrade, on suspicion of committing the murder of V.P. on December 1, 2018.

In addition, they are suspected of carrying out three attempted murders of N.A. during 2020, as well as committing the offense of causing general danger in three separate cases during 2020 and 2021. Members of an affiliated organized criminal group are also suspected of committing the murder of K.V. on June 18, 2020; K.V. subsequently died from his injuries on July 12, 2020.
