The legendary rock group of the 90s returns: "For pure pleasure"
British rock band Radiohead have announced a 20-date European tour in November and December, the first live performances by the famous five behind the iconic albums OK Computer and Kid A at the turn of the century.
"Last year we got together just to practice, just for fun," drummer Philip Selway wrote on Instagram.
"After a seven-year hiatus, it was a really nice feeling to play the songs again and reconnect with our musical identity, deeply embedded in us," Selway added.
They are returning to the stage after a seven-year period
Radiohead, consisting of singer Thom Yorke, guitarists Johnny Greenwood and Ed O'Brien and bassist Colin Greenwood, will hold four concerts in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin.
Radiohead last performed on the Moon Shaped Pool US tour in 2018. Radiohead returns to the big stage after reuniting Oasis, Britain's most iconic band from the 90s.
The seven-year hiatus is the longest in Radiohead's career. Meanwhile, Yorke released his solo album Anima in 2019 and formed the band The Smile with fellow Radiohead member Johnny Greenwood and drummer Tom Skinner.
