A passenger on the plane screamed that he had a bomb and shouted Allahu Akbar; He was overcome by a Serb
A brave Serb managed to overpower a man who screamed on the plane that he had a bomb. The incident happened on Sunday, July 27, on an "EasyJet" flight from Luton to Glasgow.
A dramatic incident when a Serb overpowered a passenger who threatened a bomb on the plane, which happened in the morning hours, led to the forced landing of a crowded plane at Glasgow airport.
The attacker was then handcuffed and six police officers pulled him from the plane, while the terrified passengers were left in tears.
In the video, the attacker can be heard saying: "I wanted to send a message to Trump... he's in Scotland."
Let us remind you that the American president is currently visiting that country and was seen playing golf over the weekend.
An eyewitness said he was woken suddenly at around 8 a.m., less than an hour after take-off from Luton, when a man came out of the toilet at the back of the plane and started making a fuss.
"He came out of the toilet shouting: 'Allahu Akbar' with his hands raised above his head. Then he said: 'I've got a bomb, I've got a bomb' – at that point people were confused. I thought he was joking, I mean, it's a weird joke," the passenger said.
He said the deranged man pushed the airline staff away and behaved aggressively towards them.
"When he pushed them away, that's when everything changed. At that moment, one guy managed to grab him from behind and knock him to the floor, and then everyone jumped on him. He wrestled a little on the floor, but then he already knew that he had f*cked up," said the passenger.
The man who restrained the crazed passenger is actually a Serb, which can be clearly heard on the video, as he cursed after overpowering the attacker.
The passenger who filmed the entire incident said that since the attacker was overpowered, he decided to film everything.
The video shows flight attendants in high heels stepping over the seat as they go to check his bag and "realized there was no bomb," the eyewitness said.
"The pilot announced that he was going to make an emergency landing and landed the plane very quickly. Everyone who wasn't holding him was told to sit down. The three who were holding him landed by still pressing him. It was incredible. I've never seen that before. The plane's staff, all girls, were really shaken by it, but they behaved extremely professionally," said the passenger.
"Some passengers were crying because they were shaken. Everything was a bit unreal," he added, pointing out that the passengers managed to take his wallet out of his pocket and that he appeared to be an Indian citizen, and that his refugee card was found.
"Flight EZY609 from Luton to Glasgow was met by police on arrival on Sunday morning, who entered the aircraft and removed one passenger due to his behavior during the flight. easyJet staff are trained to assess all situations and respond quickly and appropriately to ensure the safety of the flight and other passengers at all times," the airline said.
