Let us remind you that the State Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) has issued an urgent warning of intense showers in the area of ​​Mačva district.

RHMZ issued the latest warning

RHMZ announced that until the end of the day it will be partly cloudy and unstable in places with short-term rain or showers with thunder, which will be more pronounced locally in Vojvodina and western Serbia with the appearance of hail and strong winds in the area of ​​the strongest showers.

"In the south and southeast of Serbia, dry with sunny intervals. Outside of thunderstorms, the wind is weak and moderate, from different directions. The highest daily temperature is from 23 °C in the west and northwest to 30 °C in the east and southeast of the country."

He also warned of the beginning of a new unstable period.

"Tomorrow (06.05.) partly cloudy and unstable in places with rain and local showers with thunder, which will be more pronounced in the second part of the day. Locally, more abundant precipitation, short-term occurrence of hail and strong wind in the zone of the strongest showers are possible. Wind weak and moderate, mostly west and northwest, and only in the south of the country southwest. Morning temperature from 11 to 15 °C, and the highest daily temperature is from 18 °C in the north to 27 °C in the south and east," states the RHMZ.

They add that the probability of accidents is decreasing from Wednesday.

"Since Wednesday (07.05.), the probability of storms is decreasing, but the changeable cloudy and unstable weather will remain at times with rain and local thundershowers and lower daily temperatures (from 17 to 24 °C)."

Also, a warning was issued for intense showers and hail.

"Unstable today and tomorrow with showers and thunderstorms, which may be more intense in some places. Today (05/05) in the afternoon and evening in the area of ​​northern, western and central Serbia, and tomorrow (05/06) in other regions also a local occurrence of bad weather with a larger amount of precipitation in a short time, hail and strong wind in the zone of the strongest showers," according to the RHMZ website.

They add that there will be intense showers and hail in the Belgrade area.

"Today (05/05) and tomorrow (05/06) in the afternoon and evening in the wider area of ​​Belgrade, unstable with showers and thunderstorms, which locally can be more intense, with a larger amount of precipitation in a short time, hail and strong wind in the area of ​​the strongest showers."
