Mass poisoning? More than 20 children ended up in the hospital
More than 20 students of a school in Dalmatia ended up in the hospital, after they fell ill during an excursion.
The students were on a multi-day trip to the north of Croatia. Almost the whole class got sick, they vomited and ended up on infusions.
They went on a trip on Monday, and yesterday they ended up in the hospital receiving an infusion because they are all vomiting. A worried mother from Dalmatia also called the agency that organized the trip, but did not receive a response. She also says that the agency cursed her when she called.
The Varaždin police confirmed to 24sata.hr that the children ended up in the hospital en masse.
"We can confirm that we have information that several dozen children ended up in OB Varaždin tonight. The investigation was taken over by the Institute of Public Health, which will determine whether it was poisoning, a virus or similar. If necessary, the police will join the investigation," Varaždin Police Administration said for 24 hours.
