A father killed his two-year-old daughter and then committed suicide
The bodies of the father and daughter (2) were found in Golija, about 50 kilometers from Nikšić. As Portal RTCG learns, it is a case of murder and suicide.
According to the information they obtained, after an argument with his unmarried wife, Ž.D. (34) went away with his two-year-old daughter in an unknown direction.
After this report, the police immediately took measures and actions to find Ž.D.
After that, the father of Ž.D. reported to the police that a family tragedy had occurred, that he found the lifeless bodies of his son and granddaughter in Golija, about 50 km from Nikšić, and that it was most likely a case of murder and suicide.
Police officers and the Emergency Medical Service team were immediately sent to the scene, which confirmed the death of both persons.
The on-site investigation is ongoing and is being led by the state prosecutor of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
The police and prosecutorial measures and actions taken so far point to the suspicion that Ž.D. committed the murder of a minor child, after which he committed suicide by using a firearm.
The police, in cooperation with the competent prosecutor's office, continues to take all measures and actions in order to fully elucidate the circumstances of this tragic event.
