In Serbia, local elections are held in 67 cities and municipalities and 23 urban municipalities, and polling stations are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia announced today that there have been no serious incidents during the elections so far, except for attacks on the police and damage to the property of the Fair in Novi Sad.

As stated, the Ministry will prevent and, in cooperation with the prosecution, sanction any attempt to disrupt public order and peace and endanger the safety of citizens and institutions, including attacks on the police.
