The session, presided over by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, began at 10:15 a.m., with 146 MPs in attendance.

Before the MPs are proposals for amendments to the Law on the Seats and Jurisdictions of Courts and Public Prosecutors’ Offices, amendments to the Law on the High Prosecutorial Council, the Draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on the Organization and Jurisdiction of State Authorities for Combating High-Tech Crime, amendments to the Law on Public Prosecution, as well as amendments to the Law on Judges.

Mrdić assessed that the adoption of these laws, when it happens, will be only the first step toward returning the “usurped judiciary” to the state and the people of Serbia, so that it would no longer be run by alienated centers of power under the control of foreign power centers.

On November 7, MPs of the National Assembly of Serbia adopted amendments to the Law on the Unified Voters’ Register, which provide for the introduction of a commission tasked with and authorized to review the Unified Voters’ Register.

Also on the agenda are, among other things, amendments to the Law on Civil Servants and the ratification of several agreements. Decisions will also be considered regarding the designation of the Coronation Insignia of King Peter I Karadjordjević as cultural property of exceptional importance, as well as commendations related to Nun Jefimija’s Epitaph/Veil for the relics of Prince Lazar, the Votive Chariot, and the sculpture “Danubius.”
