By arming the so-called Kosovo, Turkey destabilizes the region, directly violates Resolution 1244 and the international order.

This is not a sporadic gift but part of a wider pattern. Ankara previously sold Bajraktar drones to Pristina, sparking diplomatic protests and deepening regional divisions.

According to Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council, KFOR is the only armed force in Kosovo, and that document also provided for the demilitarization of the so-called KLA and other armed groups of Albanians.

However, in 2009, Pristina formed the so-called Kosovo Security Forces (KBS) from the Kosovo Protection Corps, i.e. the former so-called KLA, while in 2018, the assembly of temporary institutions, without the presence of Serbian representatives, adopted the law on the transformation of the so-called KBS in the army.
