Detention ordered for suspects in the bombing of Zdravko Čolić's house

Under the investigation order, S.M. and P.S. are charged with two criminal offenses—Illegal production, possession, carrying, and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials in co-perpetration, while M.A. is charged with the same two offenses as an accessory.

Evidence-gathering measures will also be taken against S.M. and P.S. for two criminal offenses of Causing General Danger in co-perpetration, and against the suspect M.A. for the same offenses committed as an accessory.

During the hearing before the investigating public prosecutor, S.M. exercised his legal right not to present a defense, while M.A. briefly denied committing the criminal offense and refused to answer the prosecutor’s questions.

There are grounds to suspect that on 20 November 2025 and 3 February 2026, S.M. and P.S. unauthorizedly carried explosive devices prohibited to civilians, with M.A.’s assistance, who provided them with the explosive devices.

On 20 November 2025, S.M. and P.S. illegally carried a hand grenade and, using a rental car of the Toyota brand, went to the family home of the victim R.K. in the Palilula municipality and at around 2:30 a.m. activated and threw the hand grenade into the yard of the family home.

The bomb exploded in the area between the house belonging to the victim’s family and another family’s house, after which the suspects ran back to the vehicle.

Additionally, on 3 February 2026, they unauthorizedly carried a hand grenade, and using a taxi and then an electric scooter, they went to the family home of the victim Zdravko Čolić in Savski Venac. Around 4:52 a.m., the suspect being sought activated and threw the hand grenade into the yard of the family home, while S.M. kept watch to ensure no one approached and recorded the act on a mobile phone.

The hand grenade exploded, after which the suspects fled the scene on the scooter.
