Tension in Banjsko Polje: Police at three locations in search of the body
Exactly 14 days ago, photos of the missing girl Danka Ilić (2) in Banjsko Polje began to spread on social networks.
At that time, no one had any idea what we would find out in a few days - the child did not fall in, was not kidnapped, was not sold. The outcome was shocking - Danka was killed. Today, on the 14th day since the moment of her disappearance, the police are searching with all their might three additional possible locations that remained unsearched, in search of the body - the reservoir next to the suspect's house, the bridge, part of the Lazarus Canyon.
Lazarus canyon search
In the Bor region, the search for the girl's body continues today, the sixth day since the arrest of the suspects for the murder of two-year-old Danka Ilić, and another part of the Lazarus canyon is being searched.
Members of the police, together with the rescue team and the Mountain Rescue Service, searched the first 3.5 kilometers of the canyon, and the 70-meter-deep pit above the canyon was also searched.
Specialist rescue equipment and drones are used for the search. The Lazarus Cave, which is located near the village of Zlot, the Lazarus Canyon, as well as the entire area along the Zlot River were searched.
Bridge search
A convoy of police vehicles from Zlot headed towards Bor today, and then suddenly stopped at the Brestovo bridge to search this location as well in the hope that the body of the murdered Danka Ilić (2) would be found.
Police officers surrounded both sides of the bridge and did not let anyone get close. The terrain is steep, there are a lot of bushes and branches. However, the search is unsuccessful. From there, they headed further, towards the house of the murder suspect.
Search for a reservoir, a smaller pool
On the edge of the yard of the suspect in the murder of little Danka, in the village of Zlot, there is also a small tank, so to speak, partly in the neighbor's plot, which the police are intensively searching today.
