“Everything is ready for the opening. This is a great day for Čačak, but above all for the residents of Kablar, who have been waiting for a project like this for years. We are confident that the viewpoint will become a new gathering place and one of the most visited destinations in this part of Serbia,” Čačak Deputy Mayor Miloš Stevanić told RINA.

He emphasized that the investments did not stop with the construction of the viewpoint.

“The roads, access infrastructure, walking paths, a pier, and a railway station have also been improved as part of the project. We are continuing to develop the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge so that its full tourism potential can be utilized,” Stevanić said.

The viewpoint will be open to all visitors from Saturday, August 1, and according to available information, its capacity will be 100 visitors per hour.

The special significance of this project also lies in the fact that it creates new opportunities for the development of rural, religious, and active tourism. Local residents expect more visitors, the growth of family businesses, and new opportunities to stay and work in their hometowns.

From the glass viewpoint, visitors will not only see one of Serbia’s most beautiful landscapes. They will see nature that has taken people’s breath away for centuries, and a region that is now being given a new opportunity to shine on the country’s tourism map.
