The provincial institutions in Pristina have two choices: 1.) continue making fools out of themselves or 2.) work with their country Serbia on improving living standards for Albanians and Serbs of the province. Serbs aren't going anywhere. A resettlement project on the model Israeli projects in the West Bank are already underway in Northern Kosovo. Serbs south of the Ibar have a higher birth rate than Serbs anywhere else. Geopolitical changes in the world are not favoring the separatists. Serbia's economy is growing, might be top 5 this year and top 2 next year in all of Europe. Serbia's position will continue to strengthen and you will not be able to avoid Serbia. Grow up and start negotiating peaceful reintegration and high autonomy so that your people can stop leaving Kosovo-Metohija on the mass scale that we've seen since 2015.

Dear B92, any chance of some hard facts for this story? Has he indeed been banned, when, by whom, what reason has been officially given by the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs? Comments from Djuric perhaps, official response of the Serbian Government? Simply citing another media outlet as having said one thing or another is very poor journalism. If you go back 50-60 years in history there were as many serbs as there were albaninas in Kosovo. If you go back even further serbs were in majority. A hight birthrate doesen't doesn't give you the right to claim a territory. Why don't you look to Kosovos history? Serbs have their monasteries and churches from the 13th centrury. What do you have?

You Albanians can claim your holy land in Caucasus. Kosovo and Metohija was settled by Serbs in 7th century. From medieval churches, cities to modern everything was built by Serbs. Albanians came to KosMet in greater numbers only in 1690 during Ottoman reighn. Albanians also settled themdelves in central Serbia and in Bulgaria. They were expelled from Serbia and Bulagria in 20th century as Germans were after ww2 from Czechoslovakia.

Before mid-16 century the Catholics were part of the Orthodox like all other churches that existed at the time. Serbs were a sort of Rus people. And in the times of the caste society they were warriors of the Great Horde called Cossacks or Horde. They could only fight and train but were forbidden to work. Monasteries were built all over the world for only two reasons. To accommodate the retired Cossacks who for many reasons could not return to their homes and to control the colonies of the Horde. Of course churches were built inside the monasteries because before 17 century all the Cossacks were Orthodox Christians. Serbs must dominated on the Balkans called The Great Princedom of Bulgaria at the time. All peoples here were called Bulgars i.e. people from Volga (Belga = White). So there’s nothing strange that Serbian defensive monasteries were built in every place. Besides there were no nations at the time. Ethnical groups were receiving names after their military commanders or geographic places. Not all who were called Serbs were of the same origin and so were the Albanians. I don’t know who exactly built this or that site but everything you mention or mean has been built under the Great Horde and was property of theirs. In history of J.Scaliger that we use today the Horde was divided into the Roman and the Mongol Empires. But all 3 were one empire that appeared in early 14 and ended in the fall of 16 century. It was the empire of the Early Christioans aka the Pagans in 14 century and the empire of the Apostolic Christians in 15-16 centuries. In both cases it was empire of the Rurikovici Dynasty to which most likely the Nemanici also belonged. So it’s always strange to hear whom did the monasteries or Vatican or America or Arctic or Japan belong. Everything was property of the Rurikovici. No matter who exactly has constructed or melt or harvested something. Besides there were no nations before 17 century so our disputes are close to nonsense. The provincial institutions in Pristina have two choices: 1.) continue making fools out of themselves or 2.) work with their country Serbia on improving living standards for Albanians and Serbs of the province. Serbs aren't going anywhere. A resettlement project on the model Israeli projects in the West Bank are already underway in Northern Kosovo. Serbs south of the Ibar have a higher birth rate than Serbs anywhere else. Geopolitical changes in the world are not favoring the separatists. Serbia's economy is growing, might be top 5 this year and top 2 next year in all of Europe. Serbia's position will continue to strengthen and you will not be able to avoid Serbia. Grow up and start negotiating peaceful reintegration and high autonomy so that your people can stop leaving Kosovo-Metohija on the mass scale that we've seen since 2015.

You Albanians can claim your holy land in Caucasus. Kosovo and Metohija was settled by Serbs in 7th century. From medieval churches, cities to modern everything was built by Serbs. Albanians came to KosMet in greater numbers only in 1690 during Ottoman reighn. Albanians also settled themdelves in central Serbia and in Bulgaria. They were expelled from Serbia and Bulagria in 20th century as Germans were after ww2 from Czechoslovakia.

Before mid-16 century the Catholics were part of the Orthodox like all other churches that existed at the time. Serbs were a sort of Rus people. And in the times of the caste society they were warriors of the Great Horde called Cossacks or Horde. They could only fight and train but were forbidden to work. Monasteries were built all over the world for only two reasons. To accommodate the retired Cossacks who for many reasons could not return to their homes and to control the colonies of the Horde. Of course churches were built inside the monasteries because before 17 century all the Cossacks were Orthodox Christians. Serbs must dominated on the Balkans called The Great Princedom of Bulgaria at the time. All peoples here were called Bulgars i.e. people from Volga (Belga = White). So there’s nothing strange that Serbian defensive monasteries were built in every place. Besides there were no nations at the time. Ethnical groups were receiving names after their military commanders or geographic places. Not all who were called Serbs were of the same origin and so were the Albanians. They just had joint commander. Turks were Orthodox before 17 century. The Sultans were Rus Princes Tverskie and their descendants still have pure Russian happlogroups. But even in 18 century the kept praying in the St. Sophia Church in their Topkapi temple. That’s why most Christian treasuries has survived during the Ottomans.

I don’t know who exactly built this or that site but everything you mention or mean has been built under the Great Horde and was property of theirs. In history of J.Scaliger that we use today the Horde was divided into the Roman and the Mongol Empires. But all 3 were one empire that appeared in early 14 and ended in the fall of 16 century. It was the empire of the Early Christioans aka the Pagans in 14 century and the empire of the Apostolic Christians in 15-16 centuries. In both cases it was empire of the Rurikovici Dynasty to which most likely the Nemanici also belonged. So it’s always strange to hear whom did the monasteries or Vatican or America or Arctic or Japan belong. Everything was property of the Rurikovici. No matter who exactly has constructed or melt or harvested something. Besides there were no nations before 17 century so our disputes are close to nonsense. In 1380 Great Khan/Kniaz Dmitry Ivanovic (White Horde) of the ruling dynasty won the Kulikovo battle against the pagans (Golden Horde) of the same dynasty and returned the capitol back to Tsar Grad calling it Constantinople in his own honor. But after 9 years he was killed on Kosovo Polje as Murad I … So next time you divide Kosovo monasteries and churches please add Russia to the list.

In the country where I live, the real estate registry shows me as being the owner of my land, not the country.

@ icj1 - unless you're also bigKar, the point I was making foes not apply to u! Bigkar stated this great grandfather, or to that effect, owned property and the family has been there to date... My point is even though his family has been there a very, very long time, it doesn't make it Albanian land! At end od day, it is Serb land and country! This is true all around the world, not only Serbia!
