What proEU commentators don't seem to comprehend is that to many people the thought of leaving the EU is not just thinkable, it is the obvious choice. What they also don't understand is that you don't have to be an extremist to see the short comings of the EU and the continuing disaster of the EU gathering powers to itself.

Another thinkable thing is that the use (abuse?) of the word 'popularist' sounds like a criticism of democracy itself.
