Although it was stated ten years ago that he was not what he presented himself to be, Marin Tomulic again claims that he participated in the arming of Croatia.

"Fascist President" Serbs are not one to talk on such an ironic matter...

Eric, you only confirm the genocidal stereotype, your group has....

It's amazing that Serbs really think that Russia cares about them. Even trying to rationalize this as, "Well, it was Yeltsin's Russia soooooo" to deal with the heartache... Russia cares about expanding influence, just like the US. Making ridiculous statements claiming Croats drove out "17%" of their population, even though those people fled after they supported a regime that cleansed 250,000 Croats (their own countrymen) out of Krajina.... Even denying collaboration between Serbia and Axis in WWII... Never ceases to amaze me how nationalists rewrite history to make themselves feel better.... Disgusting really.

However it was Yeltsin's Russia and Yeltsin was a traitor to Russia and Serbs.
(ida, 30 November 2016 22:42)

If Yeltsin, who sent the Russian soldiers to Kosovo to protect Serbs was a traitor to Serbs, then you're saying that Putin is twice as much a traitor to Serbs for withdrawing the Russian soldiers from Kosovo.

Croatia victorious? Well if that's not the most ridiculous statement ever made on this forum don't know what is.So a war to drive out nearly 17% of your population, steal their property, kill those not lucky enough to escape, reintroduce Nazi propaganda and ideology, elect one after another fascist as your president is deemed a victory? May you enjoy a long and painful demise as reward for your humanity!
(Erik, 30 November 2016 11:39)

Erik,

You can try to spin it any way you like but the facts remain that Croatia is independent with full control of its lands and borders.
So yes it achieved what it set out to do and was victorious in its war of independence.
That is a fact that for some reason you can't accept. I don't know if it is pride, anger, hate or just immaturity.

I already knew this years ago. A Scottish mercenary who fought with the HVO and Croatian Special forces, named John MacPhee, wrote in his book "The Silent Cry" that Croatia even had a special island for the deliveries of Russian weapons.
Also, Slovenian journalists wrote in their trilogy about Russian arms merchants coming to Slovenia (this is documented) to sell weapons through Slovenia to the Bosnian Muslims.
However it was Yeltsin's Russia and Yeltsin was a traitor to Russia and Serbs.
It was after NATO's bombing of Serbia that the Russians decided to remove him.
But I do think Russia needs to come clean on all this weapons smuggling during the Croatian and Bosnian wars. And of course, Germany, Austria (financial center for the weapons), Argentina, Ukraine, Romania, Czech Republic, Yemen, Iran, Libya, Turkey and many more need to have their involvement exposed.

...Highly doubtful this has any truth but regardless, Serbs know the difference between a Yeltsin Russia and a Putin Russia.
(Zoran, 29 November 2016 15:38)...

Yes Yelsin Russia was in Kosovo,Putin Russia left Kosovo in 2003.
Putin Russia will recognize Kosovo once the West lifts the sanctions and recognize the annexation of Crimea.

Russia was almost a colony in early 90s with Washington guys in every high cabinet. So here we have another fruitless attempt to divide Serbs and Russians.15-20 years ago average Russian would not see difference between most of the Slavs but now everybody knows that the Serbs are OUR PEOPLE and you can do nothing about it. Simply because the Russians do not read your comments or watch your TV. Situation in Russia in the early 90s could be described BACCANALIA so it’s ridiculous to make serious conclusions now. Russia was betrayed by Gorby in 1989 and by Yeltsin in 1991 and 1993.

It is no surprise that everyone in theworld who had extra arms in their stockpiles was willing to sell some to Croatia. There were ships sitting off the coast just waiting for the deals to be made before they came into the Croatian ports. Just like every night in Pula there were cargo aircraft coming in after 1:00am and departing by 4:00am from all over the world including Russian arms dealers who were out for a quick buck. It was because of those arms dealers that Croatia was able to arm itself in 4 years and change the tide in the war and eventually become victorious.

"The world is changing and it all looks good for Serbia"

In what way may i ask? Serbia is poor, one of the poorest states in Europe. The government is corrupt and criminals are the ones in charge. And Serbs seeking better lives somewhere else plus Serbs are facing a demographic disaster with declining birthrates and an older population. Things doesn't look so good for Serbia i am afraid........

I don't think Russia had any intention of becoming involved on any side in the Yugoslav wars apart from making money from selling weapons.
Serbia already had weapons and also ran out of money. Croatia had money and needed weapons, so it would not surprise me if true.

Russophiles will deny this until death, but it is the truth most other people always knew.

Russia doesn't care about Serbia AT ALL, its only goal is world domination, divide and conquer, using Dugin's subversive far-right political ideology of national bolshevism. When Serbia had a chance to get powerful enough to challenge Russia, Russian government had to do everything in its power to prevent it, including arming their "ally"'s enemy.

The more you know...
