U.S. ambassador in Belgrade blasts Serbian tabloids

For Serbian tabloids the 1990s never ended.

Yes Kyle its all made up. Nasty Serb media. Poor bastard is trying to cover up idiotic behaviour by a group of marines let on the lose. These guys are not known for their overall intelligence or political savviness. Particularly these days considering the type of people joining up. The high standards of yesteryears are out the wind and people with criminal records are accepted simply becasue of the huge shortfalls in filling quotas.

The real problem with these Americans is their level of self confidence in attempting to turn the hatred of the US in Serbia around by being nice, helping out during floods, visiting parts of Serbia to tell the Serbs how the US loves them and they are their friends LOL.

The sad truth is they actually believe all of this rubbish. I can just imagine Scott's reports to Washington on how he is making headway.

What about when Americans were writing slogans on their bombs before dropping them on Serbia hmm.. Well we wont talk about that now will we?

How does he explain Fox News?

....of course the Marine story is rubbish.....but the US ambassador should know better than to lash out at the media in this way. particularly since his own country has some of the most scurrilous and just plain silly msss mrdia in the world...starting with Fox News.

US diplomats all over the world behave like Gauleiters ... if they are allowed of course. He speaks as if Serbian mass media belong to the Serbs or as if the US media is something better. We can see the circus every prime time these days.

How about if Serbian people in the USA wear a shirt that says " Serbian " on it, how far do you think that Serbian will get before he or she gets stoned to death???

Why does Serbia allow US marines on its soil? As an expat living in China, I've never seen US military guarding US embassy or consulates there. They are forced to accept Chinese security or they don't have to be there if they don't like the terms. No country should allow American terrorists which is what their military and agents are.
